Congrats to 12 year old OPSA student, Elinor Detmer, for being selected as the 2nd place winner in the Symphony of OPRF Concerto Competition!
Isabel Evans, Violin
Congratulations to 8th grade OPSA student, Isabel Evans, for being selected as the youngest member of the Honor Orchestra of America. Isabel had a great time performing and being immersed in the intense and exciting world of making music with new friends!
Ben Ellenbogen, Violin
Congrats to longtime OPSA student and OPRF junior, Ben Ellenbogen, for placing first in both the 2015 OPRF High School Symphony Concerto Competition and the OPRF Symphony Competition. Ben performed Saint-Saens Concerto No. 3 in b minor with both orchestras.
Natalie Chizzo, Violin
Congrats to longtime OPSA student and Grace Lutheran 7th grader, Natalie Chizzo, for receiving high honors at the 2015 Lutheran Music Festival. As a result of her beautiful playing, Natalie was invited to perform for an audience of 600!
